We Once Beat Northampton 10-0

Yes! It's true! In the 1939-40 season we thrashed Northampton 10-0, lost 2-1 at Notts County, then had a 2-2 draw at home to QPR.  There were no more games after this, as we started getting busy kicking the shit out of Hitler, Goering and co.

Unfortunately these records were expunged and all matches declared null and void for the season.  So while there's no official record of us beating Northampton Town 10-0, we did.  And I promise you it's not just a load of old Cobblers.
